A RBC (Rotating Biological Contactor) system is a technology using biological process by which microorganisms present in wastewater arefixed to partially-submerged parallel rotating discs forming biofilm through bioaugmentation processes. This allows for the removal of contaminating organic matter from water improving treatment In this research work, laboratory-scale composed four submerged approximately 40 % volume 1 l (0.001 m3) was used purpose reducing high levels COD and BOD contained pharmaceutical plant with aid two different microbial consortiums.
